Each engagement has a stated beginning and end. The deliverable is agreed before work starts. There are no retainers, no open-ended arrangements, and no scope that expands without notice.

Scope Lab Zone has no relationships with software vendors, staffing firms, or implementation partners. Recommendations are not influenced by what follows from them.

Findings are drawn from the company's own data wherever possible. Where external data is used, it is cited. Assessments distinguish between what is known and what is inferred.
Process
How an engagement works
STEP 01
Initial enquiry
Describe the question you are trying to answer. Scope Lab Zone will confirm whether it falls within the scope of available assessments and request a brief call if needed.
STEP 02
Scope agreement
A one-page scope note is shared before any engagement starts. It states what will be examined, what will be produced, what is needed from the client, and the fee.
STEP 03
Assessment work
Work is conducted within the agreed timeframe. Access to data, systems and relevant staff is arranged at the outset. Progress is shared at agreed points, not at the end.
STEP 04
Written output
The assessment is delivered as a written document with sourced figures. A session is available to review findings and answer questions from the relevant team.

Assessments of this kind depend on access to the right information and the right people. The following are standard requirements across all engagements. Confirming these in advance avoids delays once work has begun.
